Our Early Years Centre is a hub for families offering health services, family support services, holistic early childhood education (including a Long Day Care and Kindergarten) to empower children and families to live their best life.

About the role

As our Child Development Specialist, you will support children and families to achieve their own goals and milestones. You will develop and facilitate child-centred, culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate programs that meet the needs, interests and strengths of children (0-8) and families (attending our play programs, specialist groups and parenting programs).

You will work alongside other professionals like Social Workers, Child Health Nurses, Speech Pathologist and Child Psychologist who are all on your team. You will work collaboratively with them to undertake assessments, identify strengths, increase capacity for resilience and promote positive family relationships.

Terms: 8 month Full Time Contract based in Nerang, QLD.

What you need to succeed?

As an experienced Child Development Specialist, you will have a:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar Child Development related discipline/s
