Your New Role

This ongoing full time role at our National Office in Glebe, NSW is to provide expertise in IT implementations across enterprise applications and other critical IT functions. The role covers implementations, enhancements and analysis to support The Benevolent Society’s drive to utilise IT capability and provide innovation and efficiencies throughout our organisation.

To achieve this, you would typically:

  • Be responsible for management of implementations for IT applications by understanding requirements and scope of work
  • Be responsible for system configuration during development, UAT or production using system parameters or other vendor approaches
  • Manage unit/system testing, coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate change and release management to get changes deployed to the production environment
  • Ensure smooth handover post implementation to relevant support teams
  • Document all functional and non-functional requirements specifications (including any interface/integrations)
  • Define critical success criteria for testing to control how enhancements move from unit testing, through system testing, integration and UAT
  • Manage user training at all levels in the organisation throughout the IT implementation
  • Provide support to users during go-live, cutover phases and post go-live of an IT implementation
  • Deliver implementations against agreed and approved solution design

Who are we looking for?

A self-driven and motivated IT professional who loves to work as part of an established team and has:

  • 5+ years technical implementation experience with applications such as Salesforce, JIRA, or other enterprise ERP and CRM systems
  • Sound technical knowledge across both applications and infrastructure disciplines
  • A relevant IT degree / certification
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A proactive, can do approach
  • Business analysis skills (desirable)
  • Exposure to Not for Profit sector (desirable)
