Our Early Years Places are community based locations offering support to families where they are by connecting them with family support, child health services and early childhood education and development support whilst focusing on early intervention and prevention to ultimately empower children and families.
As a Senior Child and Family Practitioner at the new locations of Gracemere and Mount Morgan you will participate in and coordinate the delivery of services from our small multidisciplinary team including a child and family practitioner with an early childhood development lens and a speech pathologist.
You will be working alongside each other to support programs focused on the educational, social and emotional development of children (0-8) and their families. Depending on rosters, you may be involved in leading our play programs, specialist groups or parenting programs.
Partnering with families, you will undertake an initial assessment of the family’s strengths and needs. Your case plans will empower families to make lasting change, build upon their resilience to respond to life’s challenges and make referrals to appropriate networks.

Terms: Part-time permanent position (30hrs/week) based in Gracemere & Mt Morgan, Central Queensland where you will have plenty of opportunity to work autonomously while ensuring that our services are effective, culturally appropriate and maximise great outcomes for children and their families.
