  • Remuneration: SCHADS Award 2010 (Level 6) + Full salary packaging options available (of up to $15,999 tax free per year), 9.5% Superannuation, leave loading of 17.5%, laptop, mobile phone and vehicle.

The Role:

Noffs is looking for a motivated and compassionate Regional Manager to oversee our youth drug and alcohol service in South East QLD.

The service provides engagement, casework and counselling services to young people aged 12-25. The QLD service includes three innovative youth engagement centres (Street Universities) and outreach services across a range of communities (with a focus on Gold Coast, Metro North, Metro South, Sunshine Coast and West Moreton areas).

The position has regional oversight and co-ordination of a multi-disciplinary team, in conjunction with a clinical team leader and engagement coordinator and administrative support.

We have flexibility to negotiate where you will be based (Caboolture, Logan Central or Southport) but you will need to ensure that you are frequently present at all locations.

Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including engagement, outreach and clinical staff, preferably across a number of locations.
  • Responsible of service development and management, including the establishment of new sites & running best practice services.
  • Ensure the services are delivered to the highest standards in accordance with agreed program plans and funding agreements.
  • Represent the Foundation in its dealings with other service providers, both government and non-government funding agencies and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Plan, develop and implement a variety of community-based projects, resource building group development and other means of clinical support.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and support to a team of clinicians to ensure a cohesive client-focussed approach to service quality.
  • Staff management including recruitment, personal and professional development and staff performance appraisals.
  • Responsible for all staff rosters to ensure that the programs are adequately staffed at all times.
  • Monitor and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by all staff and program participants.
  • Provide high quality reports and administrative documentation.
  • Maintain data collection systems, client record systems and financial systems.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Sound knowledge of and superior skills and experience in good practice for working with young people with AOD / related problems.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team, ideally a multi-disciplinary in a similar setting.
  • Strong analytical, writing and financial literacy skills with a proven ability to manage budgets, analyse data and statistics, write complex reports and develop grant and funding submissions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to form strategic sector and community relationships.
  • Commitment to the principles of harm minimisation and to the aims of the Ted Noffs Foundation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Successful candidates must have a current and valid QLD Blue Card prior to commencing employment
  • Current driver's licence and a good driving record.
