ABOUT THE FUNDING NETWORK

The Funding Network (TFN) Australia brings people together to find, fund and support grassroots social change programs that directly help people in need. Through our interactive live crowdfunding events, TFN connects grassroots non-profits to people and organisations interested in investing their money, time and talent to drive social change. This increases the ability of the non-profit sector to deliver life-changing services while spreading the joy of giving and deepening community engagement. Since 2013, TFN has generated over $19 million for 431 non-profit programs.

OUR VISION

A more equal society, with a social sector that has access to the connections and resources it needs to thrive.

OUR MISSION

To build the capacity of grassroots non-profits, deepen the culture of giving and facilitate greater community engagement.

You are a detail-oriented, organised individual with a genuine passion for the non-profit sector, a strong interest in event management and the ability to support the team in a coordinator capacity. You are autonomous and self-motivated, but you also enjoy collaborating with a team and sharing wins. You are keen to learn from those around you and are happy with tasks big and small.

You are comfortable using MS Office, GSuite and social media platforms and are ideally proficient using digital platforms including Salesforce, Slack and Asana. If you love the idea of supporting a small dynamic team to help the non-profit sector thrive and you have the required skills and traits listed, then we would love to hear from you.

  • Confident team player, who can also work autonomously
  • Experience with CRM and digital platforms (i.e., Salesforce, Asana, Slack, Campaign Monitor or similar)
  • Experience using MS products with experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Takes initiative and is self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • An adaptable and flexible mindset
  • Possesses a powerful desire to build their skills across events and marketing
  • Has a passion for social change
  • Willingness and capacity to work with limited direction, to structure work effectively and apply initiative and perseverance until results are achieved
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required

WHY WORK WITH US

Be part of one of Australia’s largest collective giving movements and know that the work contributes to improving outcomes for the non-profit sector and the people they support.

You will enjoy TFN’s flexible culture, generous staff benefits, and you can access salary packaging options that can increase your take-home pay by paying certain expenses using pre-tax dollars up to $15,900 a year.
