We are a leprosy-focused Christian organisation that works internationally, a key global player in the fight against leprosy. We are a Global Fellowship comprising Members from across the world.
We work with people of all faiths and none to bring about the defeat of leprosy and transformation in the lives of those affected, partnering with the local church and other stakeholders.
Through resourcing and supporting our global networks, our mission seeks to bring about transformation; breaking the chains of leprosy, empowering people to attain healing, dignity and life in all its fullness.
Are you passionate about connecting people with a great cause? Do you have the ability to speak well in public along with outstanding skills at building relationships with churches and community groups? The Church Engagement Coordinator will be advocating on behalf of people affected by leprosy and promoting the work of The Leprosy Mission Australia (TLMA) with the goal of growing our supporter base in churches and groups.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to develop partnerships with groups and churches generating opportunities to speak and fundraise for TLMA.
The role requires you to identify prospective groups with the objective of obtaining support for TLMA. Your excellent communication skills will come into play making contact with groups, both new and already existing in the TLMA database, as you build relationships to support fundraising efforts.
As an engaging public speaker, you will be presenting at small community groups through to larger events and conferences. You will have the ability to network at events and a promote TLMA through trade stands.
