The Mental Health Services Learning Network (TheMHS) has been delivering outstanding learning and educational events to the mental health sector for over 30 years. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us deliver a growing program of engaging learning events across Australia and New Zealand.

The role

This role is vital in both developing and implementing clear marketing strategies that encourage registrations for our internationally-respected educational events and participation in our Mental Health Service Awards. This role involves producing and project managing coordinated marketing plans, delivering engaging content and strengthening channels. It will suit an all-round marketer with 4+ years’ experience, who is good at planning, channel development, marketing communications and loves working in small, high performing teams.

About you

You will be as comfortable in putting together a co-ordinated marketing plan, as updating web/ social media channels and creating and sending email campaigns. A self starter, with sole charge responsibility, you will thrive on developing strategies to support our activities as well as writing, editing, and production.

You are knowledgeable about all marketing channels, including digital and know how to optimise them for the best results. You will have a strong attention to detail, lots of good ideas, a passion for quality and accuracy and an interest in mental health.

You will have solid and proven competencies in Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, Mailchimp/e-marketing, website (WordPress) and social media channels and will have ideally worked with event databases (or similar).
