The Women's Office of Philanthropy & Community Investment is responsible for all fundraising and philanthropic support for the Women's Hospital, and source and manage funds from a range of channels, including individual donors, major donors, bequests, philanthropic trusts and foundations, corporate and community partnerships as well as community fundraising.

Your contribution

As a key leader in the team, as the Donor Experience and Communications Manager you will establish a vibrant philanthropic function at the Women’s that is donor-centric, growth-driven, sustainable and strategically aligned with our culture and values. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver donor engagement strategies and fundraising campaigns focused on stewardship, retention, upgrade and acquisition.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Driving the Women's donor acquisition, retention and upgrade program and lead its implementation
  • Develop and implement a cross channel communications strategy that supports the achievement of the Women’s philanthropic, donor engagement and business goals
  • Initiate and develop creative and written content, collateral and materials for all philanthropy initiatives
  • Plan and deliver philanthropic and donor engagement events
  • Strategically oversee and build a CRM architecture and associated systems that support exceptional donor experiences

About you

To be successful within this role you will be able to draw on your extensive experience in donor management as well as your experience in developing and implementing donor engagement communication strategies. You will have demonstrated success in aligning a CRM with sales, marketing and customer service, as well as strong emotional intelligence that will allow you to work with multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve success.
