Operations & HR Manager - One Girl

Talent Nation

At One Girl (OG), they believe that every girl on the planet has the right to an education. No matter where she is born, how much her family earns, what religion she adheres to or what her culture says; every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and be the best she can be. They are on a huge mission to change the world, one girl at a time. They know they can’t do it alone – and that’s why they need you!

The role

Reporting to the CEO, the Operations & HR Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation, and will have strong relationships with key staff in the Fundraising, Communications and Programs team, as well as work closely with the CEO & SLT.
As the first point of contact for their supporters via phone and email, this role will be the friendly and professional frontline for One Girl; assisting with queries, donations, and making sure supporters know about the incredible impact girls’ education can have!

This newly created position will help One Girl grow campaigns, ensure operations are efficient and effective, systems and processes are running like clockwork, and importantly, making sure the One Girl team and community feel the love! This will involve working across a range of fundraising systems and platforms to help us maintain data, and make sure transactions and donations are recorded timely and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate day-to-day Human Resource activities including recruitment activity, on-boarding and off-boarding, performance management reviews, contribute to the development of HR policies and implementation of internal HR processes.
  • Lead One Girl’s data management, ensuring systems, processes and procedures deliver accurate and up-to-date data that informs programs, fundraising and communications.
  • Work closely with the CEO for diary management, planning external engagements and developing a strong, collaborative organisational culture strategy development and lead on special projects within the team.
  • Work with the Fundraising & Campaigns Director to support the running of fundraising campaigns, including managing donor data and coordinating One Girl’s biggest fundraising campaign, Do It In A Dress.
  • Organise and facilitate organisational-wide team meetings, workshops and get togethers with a view to strengthen organisational culture and wellbeing.
