The Role

This is an exciting new role for a self-starter who is keen to make their mark with Envizi, an Australian owned, global software company that is a leader in its field. Envizi offers a comprehensive software platform to drive sustainability performance management allowing clients to consolidate data, streamline reporting, identify efficiency opportunities, or inform business strategy.

The role has a global focus, with responsibility for developing relationships with other Envizi offices to ensure consistency and quality in knowledge and staff capability globally.

The initial brief for this role is to take the reins for the internal knowledge identification, capture and dissemination across the business so that all parts of the organisation have the knowledge and capabilities to conduct their work effectively and efficiently.

When the above is all bedded down and working there will be a secondary opportunity to help develop and improve the external training program for clients and partners of Envizi, including the development of structured courses, training delivery and growth of the training business.

On top of developing knowledge resources, it is expected you will also be able to deliver training in various forms to internal stakeholders as part of onboarding new staff as well as keeping existing staff up to date with developments in their solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the product team to learn current and new functionality in Envizi products
  • Identifying gaps in knowledge by regularly engaging with Envizi business units to understand their requirements and maintain the knowledge base
  • Analysing where and how new knowledge is most appropriately captured and, where necessary, creating knowledge articles, FAQ’s, documentation, training programs, videos, etc.
  • Development of new training solutions to support market needs and generate new revenue opportunities
  • Work with HR to develop and facilitate delivery of the staff induction and the staff development and training programs including proactively identifying future training opportunities
  • Collaboration and coordination with regional Envizi offices during the training development process to ensure local needs are met
  • Maintain and develop existing training products to ensure they meet global training requirements

Required Experience

At a high level, an aptitude to learn complex software functionality quickly and the ability to translate this information into easy-to-follow knowledge documentation, videos, internal training courses, and other knowledge resources. You will ideally have a background in Sustainability and/or Energy Management related solutions and have some knowledge of the sector.

Key skills and experience include

  • Experience in the software industry is essential and ideally where software is a service
  • An application/courseware trainer with knowledge development experience and hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training or higher qualification
  • Track record of producing high quality fee for service level application training and knowledge materials that have been used to support a complex software solution
  • Experience working with corporate and enterprise level clients in some of the following sectors – technology, finance, tertiary education, health, local, state, and federal government, and manufacturing
  • A focus on quality and ongoing improvement of your training delivery methods and training materials.
  • Adaptable presentation/training styles to accommodate both user training and management consulting
  • Able to learn new applications quickly, and prepare for and deliver training at short notice
