Your New Role

Reporting to the Projects and Relationship Director, the Project Officer will work with a small team responsible for the organisation and delivery of day-to-day operational activities for allocated Projects.

The focus of the role is to design, integrate and manage a number of projects across the campus with a focus on the Burawa National Indigenous Careers Centre at Tranby.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Deliver on the assigned project deliverables including identifying and building relationships with project participants
  • Assist with reporting and evaluation of the project
  • Deliver day to day activities in alignment with the project scope and deliverables
  • Produce and contribute to a wide range of written materials to support projects including government submissions, grant and funding proposals, advertising and marketing materials
  • Develop and deliver social media and marketing strategies
  • Work with internal stakeholders and community to deliver on project milestones
  • Support and liaise with program participants
  • Organise events and activities to promote Tranby projects

About you:

The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes and qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications
  • Project work experience and experience working with community in the non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated ability in building relationships with community members and stakeholders
  • Engaged, motivated and community minded
  • Works independently and with integrity
  • High level administration skills and organisational skills
