The Hedland Well Women’s Centre (HWWC) is a community based, not for profit organisation and operates on a social model of health providing a wide range of services for the women of Hedland and their families.
These services include:
To be a centre of excellence of health and well-being for women across the Pilbara.
To support, encourage, enhance and empower the women in the Hedland community, to build stronger relationships and to connect the community by developing programs that provide supportive assistance and change.

Our objectives are to provide a women’s health service, based on a social model of health that is non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, accessible and affordable to all women, in particular by:
Reporting to the Program Manager, provide assistance to successfully deliver Health Promotion Activities based on the Social Model for Health.
The role includes providing support to develop, plan and deliver Health Promotion activities.

This role will also be responsible for liaison with a range of community groups and forums.

In collaboration with Program Manager, network and liaise with other community groups and relevant stakeholders.
Professional Development
Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals, and reviewing of industry publications.
