Travellers Aid service users include people with a permanent disability, temporary impairment or those with age-related mobility challenges who require assistance when travelling.

We are looking for a Client Support Officer who can provide hands-on support to our service users, including connection assistance and personal care assistance in a supportive team environment.

This is a permanent part-time position (approx. 15 hours per week or 0.4EFT).

  • Whilst primarily located at Southern Cross Station, you will also work at our Flinders Street Station site and pop-up sites, as applicable.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Weekend availability - preferably both Saturday and Sundays or one weekend day and one weekday
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, older people and people from diverse backgrounds
  • Essential: Personal care qualification or equivalent at the level of Certificate Ill or greater, such as Certificate IV in Disability studies or nursing studies
