We are Sparkways (formerly TRY) and as part of a Social Purpose organisation we have a vision to create a meaningful difference in the lives of children. We strive to provide all children with access to high quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).

We are seeking an Area Manager to join our management team and support sessional kindergartens in the North region, in the vicinity of Thomastown / South Morang. This is a part-time position (19 hours per week), initially to the end of Term 4, 2022.

We can offer you

  • Support to provide excellent early childhood education and care services as part of a supportive management team

  • Part time (19 hours per week) over three or four days per week
  • Initial maximum term appointment (approx. 9 months) to end of Term 4 2022

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate

  • Management success in the Early Learning sector
  • People leadership success
  • Business acumen to deliver sustainable results
  • Education leadership success with Teachers and Educators, sessional kindergarten experience preferred but not essential
  • Organisation, prioritisation and administration proficiency
  • Applied understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning and Development Framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field
