PURPOSE OF ROLE

​We are seeking an Administration Assistant to Co-ordinate the smooth operations of the Corps in all administration activities. Your primary focus will be to collaborate with Mission Support team leaders to provide consistent support to local mission delivery.

To be successful you will:

  • Assist with the preparation of reports, Corps newsletter and documents for Corps activities
  • Be a contact for the Corps, responding to telephone and email enquiries.
  • Manage the smooth functioning of office equipment, stationary supplies, filing systems, incoming/outgoing mail and emails for the Corps.
  • Maintain Corps records - Hall bookings, vehicle diary.
  • Ensure the Corps premises is secured when leaving the building unattended.
  • Responsible for financial administration (petty cash, banking and bank reconciliation)
  • Assist with coordinating Corps events (Christmas)
  • Assist with hospitality support for events (for example ALT meeting) and ensure the kitchen/office/reception areas are kept clean & tidy

HOURS & LOCATION

This is a part-time position for 10 hours per week successful applicant must be able to work a Wednesday and possible Tuesday or Thursday.

This position is located in Batemans Bay with the Eurobodalla region

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration is preferred but not essential
  • A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of TSA is preferred but not essential

MUST HAVES

  • Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
