We are currently seeking a values-driven Garden/Maintenance Worker to maintain and enhance the grounds, buildings and vehicle of the centre. This is a permanent part-time 15 hours a week position based in Perth.

You will successfully

  • Mow, weed, fertilise and garden on a regular basis
  • Ensure garden equipment is kept in good working order and replaced if necessary
  • Clean and refuel vehicles as needed
  • Clean and maintain air-conditioners, heaters, grills, gates, bins, locks, and others as required
  • Service and maintain site equipment
  • Ensure garden waste and rubbish are regularly cleaned and disposed of

The Salvation Army is subject to public health orders. You may be required to provide evidence of vaccine status dependent on requirements.

You will have

  • Handyman and gardening experience
  • A valid WA Driver's Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid with CPR
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police check
