We currently have an opportunity for a Microfinance Worker to join Microfinance Team in Canberra. This is a unique opportunity where you will be working closely with clients to help them access the NILS loan scheme.
In this position you will be assisting community members in the ACT Region to complete a NILS loan application form, prepare a budget, gather the supporting documents and submit the loan application for assessment. This will allow financially vulnerable people on limited incomes to access safe, and affordable finance, in preference to pay-day loans and consumer leases.
Reporting to the Microfinance Coordinator this position is located in Gungahlin however you may be required to travel to other sites within ACT as part of the role.
This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week, maximum term to June 2022.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 3.
