About the Role:

We currently have a permanent full time opportunity in our Blackburn office.

Salvation Army Housing is seeking an experienced project coordinator with capabilities to manage and coordinate multiple projects nationally under limited direction from senior management in the area of community housing to contribute to the aim of creating a national Salvation Army Housing mission expression that seeks to transform the lives of those experiencing housing hardship and injustice.

Opportunity to promote project development, strengthen and build stakeholder relationships and drive positive change across multiple geographic regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing project plans nationally across multiple stakeholder groups in collaboration with the Project Manager and within budgetary requirements
  • Creating and maintaining a national document library for all project material and associated contracts and ensuring that these documents are accessible to the senior leadership team
  • Develop work practices and procedures to ensure that all project plans, methodology and change management practices are consistent and compliant with Salvation Army Housing (SAH) requirements
  • Responsible for monthly Board reports including analysis and commentary on budget progression and the Project Pipeline
  • Contribute to developing and managing policy and procedure for compliance, risk management and operations management
  • Provide advice and consultation assistance relevant workplace projects nationally

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Project Management
  • Professional project management qualifications/certification i.e. PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Lean Sigma
  • Considerable project management experience in delivering cross-functional projects across the full project life-cycle including developing business cases, managing stakeholder engagement, working within a defined organisational framework and model, managing budgetary and resourcing constraints and experience driving change and the ability to set direction
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and broad communication and influencing skills
  • Sound computer literacy in common applications eg. Microsoft office
