We are seeking a dynamic and capable PR Office Coordinator to fill a full time permanent role based in Northbridge.

Reporting to the Public Relations Secretary, you will be an integral member of the Public Relations team in WA assisting the team to promote and raise funds for the work of the Salvation Army.

As PR Office Co-ordinator the focus will be to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Public Relations Secretary including diary and email management
  • Local event coordination including attendance and assistance at some (out of hour) events
  • Assist in campaign support of special appeals including marketing resources and campaign materials
  • Provide a triage point for all PR office enquiries including accepting and processing of public donations
  • General administration duties for the PR Office

To be successful in this role, a working background in Public Relations or Fundraising while not essential would be highly regarded.

Key capabilities include:

  • Excellent verbal and writing communications skills including a demonstrated ability to proof read and simplify complex messages.
  • Ability to create content appropriate for the purpose and audience;
  • Excellent time management and ability to work on numerous tasks with multiple stakeholders simultaneously;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a multidisciplinary professional team
  • Proactive can-do attitude
  • Certificate III in Business Administration
  • A current driver's license
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook) proficiency, TechnologyOne advantageous
