The Salvation Army Youth Services offer an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across Australia. Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.

Youth Services Peninsula is co-located within an integrated Youth Hub where a wide range of local supports and community connections, including Headspace and YSAS, are based. Local programs delivered by TSA Youth Services include Reconnect, TSAY Housing program, Tools For The Trade and also the T21 facility.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Site Administrator to overlook the day-to-day operations of at least two sites to ensure office processes are in line with and meet the requirements of The Salvation Army policies and procedures. You will be instrumental in managing an effective delivery of high-quality administration support for multi stream sites that aids clients with a range and combination of complex needs.

Reporting to the Program Manager this position is located in Frankston. Some travel to other sites may be required.

HOURS AND SALARY

This is a permanent part time position, 30.4 hours per week.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, level 3.

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant Business qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience in reception/administration responsibilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise and build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to maintain confidentiality of service users and professionally handle sensitive data and information
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
  • A high level of knowledge of administration specific skills, e.g. Word, Excel, IT, finance management, security management
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to performing duties in a safe manner to ensure safety of self and others
  • A current VIC Drivers Licence
  • Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
  • Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
