Homelessness Melbourne Metro is committed to providing person centred care, trauma informed practice and a strengths-based approach to improve the health, wellbeing and housing outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
The Homelessness Melbourne Metro region is a large Homelessness provider in the inner city of Melbourne and provides a comprehensive range of residential & community services across seven sites in St Kilda, Footscray, North Melbourne, West Melbourne, Kensington and Fitzroy.
Community programs include the Crisis Contact Centre, Community Outreach Services for single adults, support for older people in public housing, rough sleeper & street sleeping initiatives, community participation and AOD support.
Residential services operate from Foley House in Footscray, the Open Door in North Melbourne and Flagstaff in West Melbourne.
Homelessness Melbourne Metro is supported by co-located services including the TSA Chaplaincy program, Bolton Clarke primary health service and NDIS support coordination.
The Salvation Army (TSA) and Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) will deliver the exciting and innovative new multidisciplinary GreenLight Plus program.
GreenLight Plus program teams in TSA and SHM will work with people making the transition from chronic homelessness and rough sleeping currently accommodated in hotel emergency accommodation due to Covid 19. People will be supported into longer term housing, while addressing their unique experience of homelessness and the individual health and wellbeing factors to maintain their housing. TSA will also be a key partner in providing access to housing as part of the GreenLight Plus program. The key outcome is stable housing for people and no return to homelessness.

We are committed to working with the most disadvantaged, marginalised and complex members of our community to support them in recovering from their experience of trauma and homelessness.
This role provides assertive engagement, assessment, brief intervention, flexible case management and service coordination for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The role will work to ensure that the service provided is person centred, effective in achieving client goals, program outcomes, and are of the highest quality in accordance with TSA's values and legislative and funding requirements.
