The Salvation Army Youth Services offer an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across Australia. Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.
Oasis Youth Services is an expression of the Salvation Army based in the Hunter & Central Coast regions of NSW. Oasis delivers a range of youth programs and services for young people aged 12-25 to support their journey to independence.
We are currently seeking a values-driven Youth Case Worker to provide case management to young people being supervised by Youth Justice within the community and/or in transition from custody along with young people with a Youth Justice Conferencing Outcome Plan.
The Youth Case Worker will address practical issues to support the Youth Justice Case Plan or the Youth Justice Conferencing Outcome Plan.
These could include; income support and accommodation; re-engaging in education; accessing work or training opportunities and accessing physical and mental health services.
This is a permanent full time position, 38 hours per week.
The Salvation Army is subject to public health orders. You may be required to provide evidence of vaccine status dependent on requirements.
