The Donor Relationship Specialist, internally referred to as Outreach Specialist, is responsible for building relationships with key supporters (e.g. high-value supporters, trusts and foundations, and/or confirmed bequestors) in order to deliver income targets.
The role includes relationship-building activities via platforms both online, over the phone, and in-person, as well as organising small events.
The Donor Relationship Specialist reports to the Key Relationships manager based in Melbourne and works closely with our other Key Relationships team colleagues in Brisbane and Melbourne.
The Wilderness Society is an independent environmental advocacy organisation supported by around 40,000 engaged supporters. The work we do leverages our strong base to build a mass movement for climate action and nature conservation in Australia. Since 1976, we've stood at the forefront of the country's most historic campaigns, including the Franklin River, Fraser Island, Tasmanian Forests, Great Australian Bight, James Price Point in the Kimberley, and numerous World Heritage Areas.
This is your chance to be part of one of Australia’s oldest environmental advocacy organisations with over 40 years of success.
We’re committed to looking after our staff by offering fair pay and fantastic benefits, including:
Flexible working conditions
Work-life balance
Five weeks annual leave
Ongoing career and professional development
The Wilderness Society promotes a workplace that actively seeks to include, welcome, and value the unique contributions of all people.
