Our client, SAGE Community Services, are seeking a qualified and experienced leader to oversee service delivery across the Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) program and Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Teams (DFSV).
This new position is a key part of the leadership team at SAGE.
This role leads a team of experienced caseworkers, groupworkers and DFSV counsellors. You will also contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of the TEI program schedule and facilitate casework allocation meetings, TEI program team meetings and oversee two experienced part-time counsellors (who specialise in DFSV) to name just a few tasks.
The Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) and DSFV programs are funded through the Department of Communities and Justice. SAGE is funded to provided services under the Wellbeing and Safety Stream with additional DFSV funded services funded to June 2026. Client engagement in SAGE programs is voluntary. SAGE provides support to families with children 0–12 living in designated areas of the Parramatta and Cumberland LGAs and DFSV support for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse women and children impacted by DFSV in the Cumberland LGA. Through case management, home visiting, groupwork, counselling, advocacy, referral and young parents’ programs, SAGE works with women, children and families to respond to and provide support for identified issues.

SAGE is a community-based family support service for families in the Parramatta and Cumberland local government areas. SAGE has recently expanded service delivery to include support for male-victim survivors in the Sydney Metro Northwest and Southwest districts and DFSV services for women and children in the Cumberland local government area. The organisation has been delivering funded services since 1978, with the Department of Communities and Justice providing core funding for current programs.
SAGE provides an efficient, preventative service to families who seek support to improve their well-being. They address issues such as child development and behaviour, parenting strategies, strengthening parent / child relationships, social isolation and domestic and family violence. The centre provides a variety of services for families, including information, referral, community development, counselling, support services, home visits and group work.

You will be an experienced leader with a strong background in strengths-based, client-centred, trauma-informed practice. Your knowledge and experience in child protection, family support, counselling and domestic violence work accountabilities with be sound.
You will also have an ability to understand funding requirements and manage data and reports.
