About the Role

The Senior Marketing Executive role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, quick thinking and personable individual to join our Acquisition team. This team forms part of the wider Individual Giving team and sits within the Fundraising and Communications function at UNICEF Australia. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, Acquisition you will be responsible for supporting our new donor growth through paid, telemarketing and owned media channels, with a focus on lead generation, new donor journeys and supporter conversion.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high level input for the development of our lead generation and new supporter transition and conversion strategies
  • Manage lead generation program to acquire non-financial supporters and increase UNICEF’s reach with new audience
  • Drive execution and optimisation of your digital lead-generation plans through paid and organic media channels
  • Brief in, coordinate and optimise lead generation activities with the external media agency as well as Telemarketing (TM) activities with the external telemarketing agency and the internal Supporter Experience Team
  • Develop a streamlined approach to second gift and pledge conversion online
  • Develop regular, insightful and data-driven performance reports on the growth of the organisation’s supporter database including New Donor Transition, Conversion activities and Telemarketing
  • Utilise relevant analytics of our campaigns and audiences to better inform future planning
  • Day-to-day management of the digital inbox
  • Keep up to date on all the latest digital innovation trends, developments or opportunities
  • Support the Acquisition Team on invoice and budget tracking
  • Support the Head of Individual Giving on the selection of relevant external agencies, including Telemarketing
  • Support UNICEF Australia’s emergency response

About You

  1. Relevant degree in marketing, media, communications or equivalent relevant experience
  2. 4+ years’ experience in a consumer mass marketing environment, preferably with experience working with a paid media agency and/or telemarketing agency
  3. Demonstrated experience and understanding of supporter journeys and digital marketing
  4. Experience with digital marketing software and programs including CRMs (Salesforce desirable), CMS and email marketing software (Marketing Cloud desirable)
  5. Ability to accurately collate, analyse and report on campaign results using Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics
  6. Creativity and willingness to implement improvements to current systems and processes
  7. Effective management in the development and implementation of multiple projects to meet stakeholder requirements
  8. Evidence of relationship building skills and strong customer service skills
  9. An understanding of the charity or humanitarian sector and a genuine interest in working in this sector
