We acknowledge that the land on which we meet and learn was the place of age-old ceremonies, of celebration, initiation and renewal and that the local Aboriginal Peoples have had and continue to have a unique role in the life of these lands.

The program comprises the distribution of an innovative developmental screening tool (ASQ-TRAK) that is used to observe and monitor the development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children as part of routine health checks (developed by the program) and ongoing research toward further innovation in culturally appropriate childhood development assessment (ASQ-STEPS).
