The Role:

As our Business Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing expert administrative support to our Chief People and Strategy Officer and the Senior Leadership team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating reports, correspondence, and communications, setting up meetings, managing correspondence, and supporting efficient time management for our CP&SO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain team management systems, ensuring the directorate achieves its deliverables.
  • Create, edit, and format papers, presentations and the team newsletter with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Conduct research to provide advice to the senior leadership team and assist in operational efficiency and report production.
  • Support the achievement of directorate projects
  • Plan and facilitate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Screen and manage correspondence for the CP&SO, ensuring timely and consistent communication 
  • Provide guidance to the Senior Team Administrator to ensure the CP&SO’s time is used appropriately
  • Collaborate effectively within the People Experience Team and across Uniting to support the achievement of directorate goals
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in administration or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and social media platforms.
