Working 5 days in the office as this is an administration role.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the community? As an Administrative Support Officer, you'll provide essential support to the rental housing team, ensuring smooth operations across Uniting’s social, affordable, and other rental housing programs. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining efficiency and compliance within government-funded programs, all while working in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure deadlines are met and workflows are efficient.
  • Support tenancy management activities such as social and affordable housing allocations and compliance.
  • Maintain records, process applications, and prepare tenancy agreements.
  • Monitor rent accounts, process income and rent reviews, and ensure data accuracy in tenancy systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and engage with external stakeholders like housing applicants and community support agencies.

About You:

You’re a motivated, detail-oriented individual with at least two years’ experience in administrative support. You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks and have a proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You’re adept at working independently and with diverse teams, and you’re passionate about contributing to meaningful social change.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A knack for managing time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting disadvantaged communities.
  • Prior experience in community or social housing is a bonus!
