About the role:

This role is responsible for ensuring Uniting has the necessary information about its service programs to achieve its strategic goals. It includes the provision of quality information to meet the needs of senior management, program management, accreditation bodies and government funding agencies. This role is responsible for the requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of performance, compliance and data quality reports and dashboards to monitor service program performance and ensure accurate data. It is also responsible for the support and maintenance of these reports, including building capacity in end users and promoting a self-service reporting culture. A key function of the role is the continual improvement not just of existing reports but also the quality of the underlying data, and the mechanisms by which the reports are developed and accessed, leveraging emerging technologies.

The role is based in North Parramatta with free on-site parking. Part-time working from home arrangements are available.

Our systems are highly developed to produce strong and intelligent data that is made all the more robust by your technical knowledge, conceptual skills, as you methodically work to solve complex issues from problem management through to resolution. You will possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to build relationships, including excellent written and verbal communication. Time management will be crucial while juggling multiple competing priorities to deliver solutions for stakeholders.

You will have experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and devising data and reporting solutions to meet their needs. Excellent knowledge and experience using SQL to query databases and extract data, and Power BI visualisations to present data in user-friendly ways. Experience within an ITIL framework would be looked upon favourably to further build controls and practices as would experience developing Crystal Reports.

Some travel will be required to ensure you can connect with your stakeholders in person, so a current NSW drivers’ licence is a requirement of the role.

Qualifications:

Bachelor qualification in Information Technology or a relevant field, and 2-3 years’ experience minimum as a business, reporting or technical analyst providing reporting and data management solutions.
