Who are we?

Uniting Early Learning Kogarah supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children aged birth to five years.

We are now seeking a Cook/Educator Cert III to join their team on a permanent, part time basis (minimum of 25 hours per week) based in Kogarah.

About the Opportunity

In this role you will be planning nutritious, well presented and appropriate meals and snacks for children (0-5years) whilst adhering to food handling and hygiene practices.

You will be responsible for ensuring various dietary requirements and allergies are accounted for. You will also be responsible for stock control and ordering.

There is also an opportunity for additional working hours to support the team should you also hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.

What do I need to succeed?

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (essential)
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or Children's Services (Desirable but not required)
• Valid NSW Working with Children's Check (before commencement of position)
• Preferred Experience in meal preparation for the Early Child Care setting.
• Flexibility required for all areas (E.g. Menu adjustments and work hours)
• A team-player attitude, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management
