Our team at Uniting St Matthews Preschool have grown and learnt together and we aim to continue this through welcoming a new member who will bring their ideas and drive, to ensure we continue to thrive.

The service has a real community feel and the staff pride themselves on creating an environment that makes children and their families feel connected to each other and to those around them.

This role is a permanent, part time position. Wednesday – Friday. 

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor Teaching / Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an ECT (experience working as educational lead advantageous)
• Experience and knowledge of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
• a current and valid Working with Children Check
• a Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Bostes Teaching Certificate
• Experience of supporting continuous improvement including developing professional learning plans and programs
• Understanding of Children’s Services Regulations
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• Believe in positive team spirit and embrace working in a diverse team
