About the Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for passionate and engaging Certificate III Educator to join our team on a permanent part time basis.

In this position you will be required to work 3 days per week and work across the school term period!

At Uniting Burwood Preschool, we help children to develop a life-long love of learning and pave the way for the children's ongoing literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and language development that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond.

Burwood PreSchool is a service approved for 40 children. 

Your key duties will include:

• Being accountable for a room and supervision of children and ensuring their safety
• Supporting the ongoing development of the children
• Experience doing Observations with detail documentation 
• Participating in all aspects of the day to day running of the centre
• Fostering relationships with families and children throughout the centre

What do I need to succeed? 

• Certificate III in Early Learning with a minimum 1 year on the job experience
• Positive and optimistic outlook, friendly disposition
• A work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
• Experience working
• Understand the National Quality Framework and ELYF
