About the Opportunity:

This role is responsible for the maintenance and support of Uniting’s Client Management systems, including technical functionality and program implementation. You will consult, design, develop and configure business solutions to support service streams and programs, and create reports and interfaces to fulfil business requirements for data capture and reporting. This role together with colleagues the Care and Clinical Governance team ensure key Uniting Client Business systems are operating effectively, efficiently, and align with best practice principles regarding business system governance and controls. The role will support Service Streams to standardise system functionality and reporting to align with operational procedures. Located in North Parramatta Campus with plenty of on street parking.

Qualifications and experience:

Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a technical analyst in Information Technology and Solution implementation. Experience in a complex organisation NFP, Community Services and Health sector would be greatly advantageous. 

Key Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cohesive team environment and contribute to the team’s performance through continuous improvement activities, processes. Ability to work independently and skilled in prioritising workload and carrying through tasks to their formal conclusion.
  • Proven technical experience and delivery across business applications/systems scoping, test methodologies and documentation, controls, designing business solutions and interfaces aligned to Government, Program and Uniting requirements.
  • Experience with using SQL to query databases, providing extracted information to meet user requirements and capability in developing Crystal Reports.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a process-driven approach to solving complex issues-problem management through to resolution. Proven quality business writing skills and verbal communication skills, including expertise and confidence in developing and finalising specification requirement documentation.
  • You are organised, systematic, thorough, accurate and disciplined in your approach.
  • Some exposure to formal project management methodologies such as Agile methodology will be advantageous and an interest to develop and apply these disciplines. Previous experience within an ITIL framework would be welcome to further build controls and practices. Experience at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships with stakeholders at various levels of an organisation and managing through influence.
  • Passion for social change and creating an organisation of influence for the most disadvantaged.
