About the Role

The Uniting Retirement and Independent Living Team forms part of the Property and Housing Directorate. The Retirement and Independent Living team are responsible for approximately 85 locations across NSW/ACT.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for further career and professional development.

You’ll provide day to day administrative support to the Head of Village Services as well assist our Area Manager’s, Village Managers and broader team administrative and processing services to assist and support them in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and efficient work processes are developed, daily work flow is managed to support co-ordination of administrative activities and deadlines are met
  • Confidential and clear communication, effectively prioritising and escalating relevant issues in line with policy, procedure and practice to meet business, services and consumer needs
  • Provide cover for Village Managers as required from time to time
  • Support positive relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders

 About you

  • Qualification in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in administrative support and coordination
  • Intermediate computer literacy and competency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and office specific databases
  • Sound time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective and positive relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
