About the Role

Uniting has a great opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor contractor to join our Uniting Institute of Education (UIE) team on a contractor basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of accredited qualification programs for Uniting staff enrolled in our UIE programs. The program focus for this role is Aged Care. 

This is a closed contract role for approximately 12 months with possible extension. Roles available in Lismore, Sydney and Newcastle.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Focus on Certificate III Individual Support and related courses
• Plan and train clinical and non-clinical training materials
• Deliver accredited and non-accredited training programs
• Ensure services are delivered in line with stakeholder requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• RN, aged care, dementia and palliative care experience
• Registered Nurse with Training and Assessors qualifications
• Exposure to health, ageing or community services preferably in a clinical setting
• Experience in writing and delivering training and developing programs
• Able to manage a number of projects at once, utilising your resources effectively
