About the Opportunity

As a Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll be joining a dynamic team who is passionate about Uniting's volunteer journey, by inspiring individuals to join the great impact of the volunteer community.

The focus of this role is on volunteer recruitment, where you will manage volunteer enquiries; to find the best volunteering opportunities for them and to support their first steps into Uniting.  

You will work closely with local services and programs across NSW and ACT,  to develop stakeholder capabilities by connecting the community and its volunteers, to health and community services.

This is a permanent full-time role, based in our Parramatta office. 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in recruitment (experience using PageUp will be highly regarded)
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills
• Demonstrated strong communication, highly service oriented, and networking skills
• Confidence using technology
• A commitment to continuous learning
