• Part-time – Includes week days and weekends

The Early Morning Centre, UnitingCare Canberra City (UCCC), is seeking a part-time Referral Officer. The position requires ability to work weekdays and weekends on a rotating roster with an equivalent of 20 to 25 hours per week. The centre provides free breakfasts and support and referral services for people experiencing homelessness or for those at risk of being homeless.

Weekday hours: 8.30am -1.30pm or 9.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday (hours subject to negotiation.)

Weekend hours: 8.30am to 1.30pm (hours subject to negotiation.) Some weekday breakfast shifts may be required with a 7am start.

The position will be filled on terms and conditions equivalent to those set down in the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (MA000100) for a Social and Community Services Employee Level 3 (depending on qualifications and experience).
