About the Role

This is an exciting time for Bfriend, currently commemorating our 25th year of supporting the LGBTIQA+ community across South Australia. The Community Worker role is a unique opportunity to join our team, and contribute to positive outcomes for assisting LGBTIQA+ community members to feel safer and more secure in their expression of self. As well as assisting with capacity building in the wider community to establish social and employment environments where LGBTIQA+ community members will feel safe and secure in their expression of their gender and/or sexuality.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience working within community services, as well as:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Professional experience in the delivery of support services for LGBTIQA+ community members
  • Understanding of the South Australian LGBTIQA+ community/communities
  • Knowledge of client engagement approaches for disadvantaged and isolated clients

About the Remuneration

The Salary range will be dependent on experience and/or qualifications. We provide generous salary packaging benefits that enable you to increase and maximise your take home salary.
