About the Role

Here at Uniting Communities, people are at the heart of all we do. The role of the People & Culture team is to partner with the business to help build highly engaged teams. We work alongside leaders supporting them to recruit, retain, develop and reward their people, whilst ensuring that we continue to live up to our values.

The role of the People & Culture Administrator is to provide high level administrative support to the People & Culture team in order to deliver exceptional internal customer service and to facilitate the achievement of the goals and objectives of the department. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Full Time contract.

Some of the duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing and distributing reports to a range of business units
  • Producing contracts and variation letters
  • Coordinating Volunteer onboarding
  • Maintaining Employee and Volunteer compliance checks and accurately updating Employee records and Registers
  • Supporting the People & Culture team with a range of administrative tasks including invoicing and updating of forms and documents

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration (Diploma in HR or Business Administration desirable)
  • Extensive Administration experience in a medium to large organisation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multi task
  • Excellent attention to detail with high level accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound knowledge and application of the MS Office suite of applications
