Senior Administration Officer - West Lakes

THE OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for the delivery of quality Aged Care administrative services and for the supervision of administration staff to ensure the efficient operation of all business systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate reception and ensure that all visitors and residents are shown respect and feel welcomed as per UnitingSA’s vision and values when entering the facility
  • Represent UnitingSA professionally at all times in accordance with its vision and values
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing and other staff as required
  • Schedule and undertake Aged Care facility tours
  • Participate in training activities, committees, meetings and other events as required
  • Assist with People & Culture processes for staff recruitment
  • Arrange Leecare access for all aged care staff and assist with the reporting from the system
  • Resident and staff surveys are sent out in a timely manner and collated ready for evaluation

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recognised qualification in Business Administration or Office Skills or extensive recent experience in office administration and clerical duties or other relevant qualifications
  • Current Police Check or relevant DCSI Clearance
  • Experience within a residential aged care facility or community service, not for profit or similar organisation
  • Experience with using RosterOn (desirable)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer service, team work

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
