The HR Partnering function is in a period of significant development, striving to achieve an integrated service offering aligned with the University’s ambitious workforce strategy and organisational design objectives. As a result, we are seeking a strategically aligned and collaborative HR Partner (Identified) to join the team. In this role, you will be working closely with the Manager Indigenous Employment, and other identified roles across HR, with a particular focus on implementing and supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Strategic Framework 2019 - 2021 and the One Sydney, Many People 2021 – 2024 Strategy.
Partnering with senior leaders within your client groups, you will develop a robust understanding of their business and will effectively advise on their HR needs, strategic transformation and change initiatives. As a subject matter expert, you will play an integral role in driving key linkage and collaboration across the various HR Centres of Expertise (COEs) to deliver culturally informed and appropriate HR practices and advisory services in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
