UMFC Family Relationship Services (FRS) assist parents who are separated or separating to reduce conflict and improve family functioning in the best interests of children. This occurs through services including dispute resolution, counselling and group work and the Children's Contact Centre.
UMFC currently has the above full-time (part-time by negotiation) position available within the Family Relationship Services based in Albury on a 12 month contract (with possible extension).
In this role, you will join the Parenting Orders Program and will provide integrated support to families experiencing separation. This is done by utilising therapeutic and educational interventions including family counselling and group work to achieve workable parenting arrangements.
Additionally, the role will provide intake, assessment and referral and will deliver information sessions and community education activities.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Counselling or equivalent
