Due to service changes Out of Home Care (OOHC) has the above full-time position available based in Wodonga.

OOHC service consists of a number of programs that are committed to ensuring the safety, stability and opportunity to thrive for vulnerable children and young people in our community.

The Kinship program funded by DFFH provides case management and information and advice services to kinship families in the Ovens Murray area.

This position engage in all aspects of Kinship Care including working with children, carers, (grandparents, aunties, uncles or other family members) and other key stakeholders to ensure the provision of a therapeutic environment.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Sciences or equivalent.
  • An understanding and demonstrated experience in case management.
  • A sound knowledge of trauma and the impact on children and the ability to apply that knowledge.
