about the role

We are looking for a researcher to specialise in smart cities, particularly working collaboratively with government and industry partners to implement place-based technology and data ideas. You will ideally have an in-depth knowledge of and demonstrated experience in smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT), and/or associated planning and regulatory considerations.

Your track record of successful project management will enable you to play an integral part in a dynamic research team. You will have a proven ability to work in a commercial, team-based environment to deliver high quality project-based research.

Remuneration

Salary Range:

• Level 6 Research Consultant $84,931 to $91,959
• Level 7 Senior Research Consultant $93,719 to $103,677

The university offers 17% employer provided superannuation and salary packaging opportunities. This appointment will be full time on a 12 month Fixed-term contract.
