The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the role

The role will enhance the organisation’s effectiveness by conducting thorough quality audits and refining organisational systems and processes. This position is pivotal in supporting client-facing staff to elevate their practices, minimise risks to clients and the community, and ensure continuous compliance with both internal policies and external standards.

About You

Dedicated to VACCA's values and purpose, with a deep understanding of Aboriginal communities and the challenges they face. Skilled in auditing, data accuracy, and quality improvement, with experience in accreditation processes. Possesses strong project management, time management, and communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office and SurveyMonkey. Effective both independently and as a team player.

  • Qualification in Community Development or services Previous work experience in the community sector and/or case management experience will be highly regarded
  • Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver's Licence.
