About the opportunity

The Trainer – Business & Leadership programs within the VACCHO RTO Business and Leadership Stream is an identified position.

The VACCHO RTO Business and Leadership Stream role will have skills, in course design and writing, support the compliance team with effective and efficient scheduling of VACCHO’s Business and Leadership Stream.

The Trainer – Business & Leadership programs will have recent, relevant industry experience and share their experience with our students. The primary focus of this position is the design and leading the effective delivery of Business and Leadership Stream of accredited and non-accredited training

Key responsibilities include:

  • Training and assessment of accredited Business & Leadership programs. This will include the following:
    • Delivering accredited and non-accredited training programs & workshops, incorporating simulated learning, on and off the job assessments and appropriate on the job activities.
    • The focus of the role will be to deliver the following accredited programs:
    • BSB30120- Certificate III in Business
    • BSB40120- Certificate IV in Business
    • BSB40520- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
    • BSB50120- Diploma of Business
    • BSB50420- Diploma of Leadership and Management
    • BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resource Management.
  • Assisting with the design and documentation of training and assessment strategies (TAS) and training plans where necessary.
  • Design, Develop and modify resources (in line with ASQA requirements) to suit the needs of VACCHO RTO students and employers ensuring currency and version control of all learning and assessment resources and texts.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Highly developed written communication skills, with exceptional ability to prepare a range of documents including but not limited to training resources, assessment tools and supporting documents.
  • Have at least 3 years work experience or vocational practice/engagement in relation to the delivery of accredited Business & Leadership and Management programs
  • A Finance, Commercial, Business or Leadership and Management qualification (at a minimum of Diploma-level).
  • Minimum TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its equivalent) or higher level qualification in adult education.
