The Vinyl Council’s core purpose is to advance sustainable development of the vinyl, or PVC, industry in Australia. It operates a voluntary product stewardship program which, since its launch in 2002, has significantly modified the way in which vinyl products are manufactured and managed throughout their life. This is an exciting opportunity to continue the process of driving change through the industry supply chain through supporting our existing programs and developing new ones.
This is a varied role requiring excellent project/program management skill and ability to work autonomously. It will include research, analysis, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, presenting, leading meetings, negotiating, report writing and some deep, innovative thinking. There's also some routine stuff!
It will give you the opportunity to broaden your understanding of manufacturing supply chains and responsible sourcing, to explore plastics circular economy solutions, to build networks and drive real change towards sustainable development.
If you have a love of learning and CSR/ESG reporting experience, this could be your next step!
A position description is attached.
