Expression Australia is undergoing a significant era of change and growth, and has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager.

This role is a fantastic opportunity is for an energetic, passionate visionary to build the brand and create strong public recognition for the desires of Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for leading and providing strategic direction for Expression Australia Marketing and Communications functions. This includes the development of our public relations and digital platforms, as well as developing and strengthening the team to support the strategic direction of Marketing and Communications at Expression Australia as it rolls out its strategic plan for 2021 – 2023!

This position is full time, based in East Melbourne with flexible working arrangements available.

You have previous experience leading and delivering Marketing and Communications initiatives including high performing simultaneous campaigns. Your passion to make a difference is obvious to all who know you.

Skills and qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior marketing role in brand management/marketing communications or engagement, including demonstrated experience leading digital and social media marketing, public relations and management.
  • Qualification(s) Marketing, Communication, social media, or public relations.
  • Highly developed strategic marketing, communications, and project management skills.
  • Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, responsive, and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lead positively, with agility and adaption to changing environment.
  • Auslan skills (or a desire to learn)
