VicHealth is the world’s first health promotion foundation. Established by the Victorian Parliament in 1987, we were the first agency of our kind worldwide to utilise a hypothecated tax on tobacco to support independent, long-term, evidence-based health promotion practice, partnerships and leadership.
We continue to be a global leader in health promotion, as a Collaborating Centre with the World Health Organisation and as a technical partner to UNICEF.
The Research Coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Research and Impact, and will work across the organisation to support the delivery of our research strategy.
In this excellent career opportunity, you will be responsible for administering research contracts, coordinating research projects, producing internal reports, and developing materials that enhance the communication of research findings.
You will develop and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation and with key external stakeholders, including staff in research institutions and other partner organisations.
You will possess great project management skills and attention to detail, have a “can-do” attitude and be comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
VicHealth is committed to ensuring appointments represent the diversity of our community. Women, Indigenous people, people with disability, young people, LGBTIQ+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
