About the role

The Strategic Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Strategic Communications Manager.

In this exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity, you will use your recent relevant qualifications and experience to provide support for all marketing and communications projects and campaigns across multiple teams and channels.

Your role will support the organisation by assisting with planning projects and communication activities, to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget, and satisfactory to expectations.

You will collaborate effectively with teams to ensure all marketing and communications work is fully integrated and planned holistically.

You’ll bring strong project coordination and administration skills to the role, along with being an effective communicator who conveys ideas and information in a clear way.

As a proactive self-starter you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to provide efficient and effective support. Your exemplary attitude and problem-solving mindset will shine in this role.

Additional qualifications and experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable
  • Proven track record and experience working at this level
  • Ability to work with multiple systems in data analysis, and project monitoring and reporting
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within the health, community, or government sectors.

Unit: Social Marketing & Communications Group

Tenure: Full time, Fixed Term (12 months)

Full Time Equivalent: 1.0 FTE

Classification: VicHealth Grade C

Remuneration: $ 73,039 (plus superannuation and other benefits)
